NORFOLK, Va. - Norfolk State University's home football games against North Carolina A&T on Sept. 13 and against Delaware State on Nov. 15 at Dick Price Stadium will be televised on ESPNU as part of the MEAC's official television package, the conference announced on Tuesday, June 24.

Both games are scheduled to be televised on a tape-delay basis, with broadcast times to be announced at a later date. The games will kick off at their originally announced times: the A&T game begins at 4 p.m. and the DSU contest at 1 p.m.

Last season, the Spartans had three games (Rutgers, N.C. A&T and Howard) shown on the ESPN family of networks.

ESPNU has secured distribution agreements with Charter, Cox, DIRECTV (Channel 609), Echostar's DISH Network (Channel 148), Insight Communications, Mediacom, Time Warner, Verizon, many smaller affiliates and is close to distribution agreements with others. ESPNU reached 20 million households at the start of the 2007 college football season.

Locally, ESPNU is available on Cox digital cable channel 232 as part of the digital sports and information package.
