The Global Affairs program at Norfolk State University has changed its name and broadened its field of study. The program's name has been changed to International Education and Global Initiatives. The International Education and Global Initiatives program began October 1, and it coordinates and directs all international activities and programs at NSU, including study abroad.

On Friday,October 26, Echols gym was about half full with Norfolk State University students waiting for the 2007 "Stomping on the Yard" homecoming step show. The gym was hot and the crowd grew impatient as New Jersey's own DJ Nix in the Mix kept the music flowing until the show began.

The NSU Spartan Legion took on the Marching Force of HU down at Echols Hall on Oct. 12th.
