General Information
The Spartan Echo is a student newspaper serving the Norfolk State University community. Students from any major can serve as volunteer staff and the staff is advised by a faculty member of NSU's Department of Mass Communications and Journalism. The newspaper is governed by NSU's Student Publication Board and funded through NSU's Office of Student Activities. For more information, click on the publshing policy link to the left.
The Spartan Echo newsroom is located in the Godwin Student Center, room 318. Staff meetings are every Tuesday and Thursday at 12:30 during the academic year. Students interested in joining the Spartan Echo team are encouraged to attend.
